POSITION INFO:


Role:	Incubate Developer
Rate:	R200 - R500 Per Hour
Job Type:	12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Availability:	Immediately
Location:	Gauteng

Role Purpose: The Developer is responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software and/or hardware products for ongoing Incubate projects. He or she will be expected to be part of a scrum team and should be knowledgeable in Agile methodology. It will be highly advantageous to be trained in and operated in Scrum methodologies and be Scrum certified. Minimum Requirements: Certificate in Agile SCRUM Methodologies Matric/Grade 12 (or SAQA Accredited equivalent) is essential A minimum of 10 years total experience in the Development/Telecommunications Industry is essential. 5 years’ experience should be in a development role Demonstrable software/hardware/firmware development skills Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role Experience in working with large data sets and tools: MySQL, SQL, Excel, GIS AI and Machine learning concepts Hardware Development skills Ability to build prototype hardware projects using microcontrollers, for example, Arduino Software Development skills: Java, Java Script, PHP, C#, C++, Python, UML, HTML, CSS API development/integration: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON In-depth knowledge/experience of the Telecommunication Industry Technical writing to produce presentations and documents that are of global industry standard Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
