POSITION INFO:
Incident & Accident Reporting Agent - Transport (Graduate)
(open to all but preference will be given to AA disabled applicants)
Area: Fourways, Sandton, Gauteng
Package: Negotiable up to R10000 P/M
(12 month Fixed-Term contract with possibility to convert to permanent thereafter)
Purpose of the position:
Tracks and analyses On Time Loading and Delivery as well as updating the relevant Track and Trace system. Manages carriers, pallets, accidents and incidents and executes the required actions associated with these. Logs and handles incident tickets related to carriers, deliveries, pallets, accidents and incidents. Ensures accurate and timeous information is provided for necessary reporting dashboards.
Duties:
On Time Loading and Delivery
o Ensure timeous capture of planned and actual loading and delivery times on relevant system
o Ensure that plan is realistic and achievable, evaluate results and implements corrective action to achieve daily KPIs
o Ensure contingency plans are in place in the event of carriers are unable to provide required vehicles
o Escalation of service failures to relevant parties
• Management of Track and Trace System
o Progress vehicles consistently according to the plan to ensure proactive action for deviation, that includes follow up on vehicles for loading, en-route and delivery
o Ensure that OTL is captured at the respective loading points, progress availability from carriers
o Ensure that track and trace is updated on a daily basis for the previous day
o Ensure that information is received from carriers and correctly captured in the system
Update system with sufficient information about delay for OTL and OTD
o Ensure that SMS’s are sent to the respective parties of the status action to be taken and the CRM ticket number included
o Ensure T&T is completed by on site reps for loading
• Risk Management
o Manage pallets issued to carriers
â–ª Capture de-hire and remedy tickets, provide outstanding balances
â–ª Progress outstanding pallets with carriers and interface with site operations
o Management and reporting of accidents and incidents
â–ª Ensure the required reporting processes are followed to pro-actively report accidents, hi-jacking, and incidents
o Review event management dashboard and co-ordinate actions with operations management
• CRM Tickets
o Raise and create tickets as per requirements and ensure that all incidents of deviations have ticket number allocated as per guidelines provided
o Manage the authorisation process to obtain required tickets from the Client
o Ensure remedies provided are within the required specifications to allow for accurate event management of items impacting service delivery to the client
• Daily / Weekly Reporting
o Ensure that all dashboard items are completed by the respective personnel and submitted timeously
o Attend site and relevant meetings, bring forth issues and actions to resolve
QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Qualification in a Supply Chain discipline
