Inbound Travel Consultants

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for experienced Travel Consultants for a company that services DMCs dealing with inbound international tourism.

Experience required:

Matric or equivalent

Minimum 2 years’ experience in consulting on Southern Africa

Tourplan experience is an advantage

Computer literate

Exceptional attention to detail and professional writing skills

Good interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and able to multi-task with fast turnaround times

Capacity to deliver commendable services that surpass customers’ and guests’ expectations

A team player, who is equally able to work independently

Duties include:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and ensuring that DMC Partners are always kept up to date

Fast and efficient turn-around time

Manage the booking process from start to completion

Fulfil all customer requirements, including offering information and alternatives and effectively advising on important booking details

Deal with product suppliers in a professional manner; availability checks, confirmations and reconfirmations
