SUMMARY:
MUST HAVE RELEVANT CURRENT EXPERIENCE IN A - Z OF IMPORTS ADMINISTRATION IN CLOTHING / TEXTILE INDUSTRY

POSITION INFO:

Imports (SHIPPING) Administrator

My client, an apparel manufacturer, based in Elsies River, is seeking an EXPERIENCED Imports (Shipping) Administrator to start immediately!

Part-Time (half-day) or Permanent

The ideal candidate MUST have

· at least 15 years of CURRENT experience in full imports shipping administration from A to Z in the CLOTHING and TEXTILES MANUFACTURING sector

· shipping knowledge

· attention to detail

Some Duties & Responsibilities

· Handle all imports administration.

· Liaising with local agents, suppliers, clearing agents & couriers

· Good communication skills and attention to detail

· Maintaining import files and costings

· Controlling FECs

· Preparation of OTTs and submission thereof to the bank

· Rebate store administrative management & record keeping

· Various reports on Excel

· Monthly reconciliation of import creditors / overseas supplier accounts

· Checking of Clearing Agents billings and preparation thereof for bi-monthly payment

· Continuous tracking and advising on the delivery status of consignments

· Manage a SARS custom rebate store for goods bought in duty free

Salary: Half Day (Salary R10 000) or Full Day (Salary R16 500)
