We specialize in placing professionals in the Freight and Courier sector and our clients are consistently looking for career driven candidates with analytical skills, and a stable work track record, my client is searching for a Sea and Airfreight Imports Manager to join their team based in Johannesburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role:

The successful candidate must investigate the specialized and technical needs in the management and administration of commodities and products that are sent for delivery from the organization. Ensure that all the commodities and products are arranged properly and then disperse. Must have a thorough knowledge of shipments in sea and airfreight environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or Degree in Logistics.
Freight Management certificate or similar
5 - 8 years’ experience in Freight or shipping environment
5 years management experience
Extensive Sea and Airfreight experience
Organise all import documentation for goods and prepare schedules for shipments.
Establish long-term relationships with clients and grow new business.
Attend to queries for Suppliers, Forwarders, Overseas Agents, and Shipping Lines
