SUMMARY:
Our client in Ethiopia is urgently looking to appoint an Implementation Management in their Offices. The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading, coordinating and supporting role regarding technical topics and solutions within a network implementation organization.

POSITION INFO:

The job role is used for Wireline, Wireless and Transmission network deployment and can be adapted and used for managing all implementation services e.g., Network Design, Site Acquisition, Civil Works, Installation, Integration services etc. Responsible for management of activities and personnel both from, Customers and Suppliers according to the requirements and customer contract.

Desired Experience and qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in the work area of responsibility.
  • Dependent on Work Area, typical experience from working as a Site Engineer, Installer, Civil Works construction, Civil Work design, Turn-key rollout incl. Site Acquisition etc.
  • Training in and awareness of all OHS statutory and customer requirements impacting especially in the local market.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Technical Site Survey plus TSSR
  • TSAC approval
  • Verification of quote on site
  • Datum confirmation (Level)
  • Site design application
  • Liaise with internal and external customers.
  • Hold points 1-4 inspections.
  • Civil Documentation
  • Site scheduling
  • Problem solving
  • Enforcing of Health and Safety on site and File
  • Quality
  • Site Handler update
  • Technical acceptance of site
  • Finalizing WCN
  • Signing off from PAC to FAC

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate work in agreement with the Customer and Project Manager plan the rollout.
  • Based on the rollout plan secure internal and external rollout capacity
  • Secure call-off process to issue purchase orders towards suppliers and orders for internal resources
  • Manage rollout, act on upcoming implementation issues.
  • Perform progress meeting, on regular bases, with Customer, Project, and Suppliers
  • Handle work orders and compensation
  • Drive resolution of Change requests from suppliers.
  • Monitor the overall request for compensation.
  • Acceptance procedures together with Customer and Project Manager agree on acceptance procedure.
  • Setup acceptance procedures towards suppliers, monitor and act on resolution of punch list from internal acceptance.
  • Plan and follow-up of quality assurance.
  • Secure that quality measurement is in place and continuously measured and act on quality issues.
