IT Technician/Desktop Support, Stellenbosch

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a property market Leader in South Africa, are currently looking for a IT Technician/Desktop Support, who can start as soon as possible, or immediately at their offices in Stellenbosch.

 

Must be able to work flexi hours when required.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

Desktop Support for dealing with day to day tickets and call outs. Collecting and delivering stock and services in town. Track assets and log required information. Escalate issues for resolution.

 

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• A+ & N+ or equivalent
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must be neat and presentable.
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work flexi hours when required.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Complete assigned tasks and keep system updated with progress.
• Hardware - install setup, configure & troubleshoot faults.
• Software - install, setup, configure. Troubleshoot faults with provider.
• Networking, repair, configure & troubleshoot.
• Provide remote support via phone & remote connection.
• Escalate unresolved or repeated tasks.
• User training & assistance with boardroom connections.
• Product research and facilitating procurement.
• Assist System Admin in various administration tasks.
