SUMMARY:
IT Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Systems / end user support (telephonic, on-site)

Administer Service Desk

Execute on IT related projects / initiatives

Provide technical 1st line support to staff and stores.

Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.

Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks where relevant.

Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests logged by users.

Provide support on Windows, Android and Apple operating systems

Setting up accounts for new users.

Repairing and replacing IT and related equipment as necessary.

Provide after hours and weekend support on a rotational basis.

Administer and enforce IT security controls and measures.

Ensure that the IT asset register is updated and kept up to date.

A+, N+ essential
IT Diploma or MCITP/MCSE (Advantageous)
3-4 years’ experience working in a technical support role
Experience in all latest Microsoft OS and related applications / environments
Microsoft operating systems (Win 10) and Office/Office 365, Android and IOS (Apple)

Proven, credible retail experience will be an added advantage
