SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of hydraulics and fittings is on the lookout for an IT Technician. The position is based in Johannesburg East and the successful candidate should have at least 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric.
Relevant Degree in Information Technology.
Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence.

Minimum Technical Requirements:

CompTIA Certification/s.
CCNA.
Microsoft Server Administration related certifications.
Beneficial: Previous Windows Server experience.

Main responsibilities:

Setting up and maintaining devices (Laptops, Printers and Mobile devices).
Printer set up and maintenance.
WIFI and Network maintenance.
Maintaining domain and server environments.
Responsible to maintain ERP communication systems.
Ensuring that the existing IT security systems are tested and maintained.
Provide onboard training for new employees.
Update all IT related hardware.
