IT Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client, a technology solutions and service provider are looking for an on-the-ball IT Technician that will be based in the Pretoria area.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma.
• 2-3 years’ experience.
• Experience with the following:
  • Networks.
  • Servers.
  • Routers.
  • Switches.
  • MikroTik – Advantageous.
• Advantageous: Cisco Certifications.

Minimum Technical Requirement:

• Installation, configuration and support.
• Logging and following up on calls with external suppliers and service providers.
• Installing, configuring, maintaining and Troubleshooting client servers.
• Networking (WAN/LAN and Wireless).
• Server installations.
• On call guidance and coaching of clients.
• Remote administration of servers and workstations.
• Administering and performing backups.
• Compiling of desktop and server configuration documentation for client sites.
• Troubleshooting on all IT related equipment.
• Client visits.

Additional:

• Petrol reimbursement.
