POSITION INFO:

Our client based in the Pietermaritzburg area is seeking a dynamic highly skilled IT Technician with experience in Technical Support & Troubleshooting. The main function is to provide a wide range of services to implement, support, repair, and maintain the organization’s information technology systems in line with agreed standards.

Key Functions include:

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting.
2. System Maintenance, Backups & Upgrades.
3. Network Support & Monitoring.
4. Security & Compliance.
5. Customer Service & Communication.
6. Documentation & Reporting.
7. Training interventions.
8. Continuous learning and adaptability in Information Technology.
9. Comply with the requirements of ISO and Quality management Systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Core Maths and Science.
• A National Diploma in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Good coordinating and liaison skills
• Good IT Knowledge and ability to learn on the job
• Ability to work co-operatively with a team.
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Suite of Applications
• Driver’s License
