IT Technical Internship

 

A top legal firm wants an IT intern for their Cape Town Office.

Internship Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Strand Street, Cape Town CBD
Stipend: R6000 per month plus an incentive of R2000 payable at the end of the internship (if the intern provides proof that he or she has got a job offer OR if the intern cooperates with the company’s attempts to secure employment for them).
 
Job Tasks

• The intern will work at the Help Desk, assist with technical support, configuring computers, installing software etc.
• The intern will have a mentor and receive some basic training

 
Requirements

• Boston Tertiary qualification in IT, ideally a technical qualification
• South African citizen
• Aged below 30 years
• Strong IT Technical skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
• Strong Windows 365 skills
• Admin-oriented and admin skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to maintain and install IT equipment
• Able to handle stock control and inventory management of IT equipment
• Very good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good marks for Matric and IT Studies
• Comptia A+ and N+ Certificates will be advantageous
• Applicants living near the Cape Town CBD will be preferred
• Male applicants will be preferred
