SUMMARY:

A well-established manufacturer of plant and animal nutrition is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to ensure all Information Technology Service Management related areas are fully functional and operational, with the aim to optimize the internal IT infrastructure for increased productivity, ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a Qualification in IT Administration or related
Minimum 2 years in a Windows environment, including the administration of servers, LAN, WAN and communications will be required
Microsoft Office 365 administrative experience is essential, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and MS Teams
Good communication and writing skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supporting the IT environment for the company.
Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications and desktop.
Network troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (including servers) and other applications and services used by the company.
Managing the connectivity for all sites.
Supporting all desktop users.
Upgrading and installing new hardware and software.
Ensuring the back up of data.
Managing network security.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
