SUMMARY:
We are requiring your two to five years experience managing day to day IT aspects within a company dealing with hardware, software and basic network operations.

Our manufacturing client in Atlantis is requiring your sound IT knowledge, analytical ability with troubleshooting and problem solving with excellent communications skills in both English and Afrikaans. Must be able to travel when needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12, plus IT Diploma highly advantageous
Comptia A+ and Comptia N+ certification essential
Own vehicle and driver license essential, willingness to travel national, able to perform overtime or standby duties when and as required
2 -5 years working experience in an IT environment
Must have Windows 7 & 10, Desktop, Hardware, Networking, WAN, VLAN, Printer, switches, router and mobile device management (MDM) support experience
Excellent client service orientation skills
Strong attention to detail with ability to work independently with minimum levels of supervision
Highly energy level and proactive

DUTIES

Reporting to the I.T Infrastructure Manager
manage day-to-day IT (hardware, software & basic network) operations at Company sites nationwide.
Manage the network (software, anti-virus, updates) and server room
Provide support to users, on site or remotely, with computer related problems and installations, including support with telephones
Provide software support for Apple IOS, Windows & Window Server users
Ensure connectivity of IT Systems and the internet specially around CNC machines in factories
Set up PC’s/Notebooks and systems where required
Troubleshoot network, systems and applications to identify and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues
Maintain high degree of first time support query resolution.

Salary: R17 – 23000, including benefits, dependent on experience
