SUMMARY:
To provide technical assistance and maintenance of computer systems, logistical support, audiovisual equipmentÃ¢Â€Â™s etc.

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Attend to users requests and incidents

Resolve users requests and incidents allocated within service level agreement
Escalation of unresolved requests /incidents to the third level (IT Security) support

Desktop support

Software troubleshooting and hardware repairs and maintenance
Install requested hardware, moves, additions and changes

Configuration management

Install company approved applications and operating systems on all desktops and laptops and iPads
Complete verification forms of IT related hardware such as desktop, notebook, printer and other peripherals

Provision of support and maintenance on company’s telecommunications and company Audio Visual facility

Setup and configure Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone handsets and other telecommunication devices.
Provide demonstration to users on how to use telecommunication devices etc.

Record keeping of user’s computer application (loans, returns, removal etc.

Fill forms to record assigned equipment to the users, storerooms and record any removal of equipment
Ensure that the returned computers (ipads etc.) are working properly and accompanied by all the necessary documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 1-year experience in an IT end-user support environment.
Advanced National Certificate/ diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science.
Certificate in A+ N+, will be an added advantage
