SUMMARY:
IT Support Engineer with strong customer-facing experience needed for a third sector organisation in London.

POSITION INFO:

IT Support Engineer required for a growing third sector organisation.

The company, who are a charity with an admirable cause, are looking for a customer-facing IT Support Engineer to join their London office. You''ll be looking after their different centres, predominantly focusing across the North of England.

Whilst you would be hands-on technically (1st/2nd line support), a huge chunk of the role is being the first and main point of contact for the IT function (as part of a team of three, who all look after different regions). This means you need to a strong and personable communicator - whether online, via phone or in-person!

Right now, the company are slowly bringing their outsourced IT operation in-house, and as they do so, there is room to move and grow both career-wise within the company and technically. On top of this, the charity are looking to modernise their tech stack, which includes a move to the cloud, so skills wise you get to be forefront of new tools/tech within the industry!

You''ll have most of the following skills/experience:

**Strong demonstrable communication skills

**Some technical experience (e.g. 1st/2nd line background)

**Windows, Apple and iOS experience

**Office 365 exposure

**Cloud experience (Azure AD) would be bonus!

**Microsoft Endpoint Management / Jamf for Mac

**VOIP / Microsoft Teams VOIP

**Remote desktop

**VPN, firewalls

You''ll need to visit the other company sites (they are looking to grow to up to 60 centres across the UK!), and your focus will be on the North of England. The company envision you travelling about once every two weeks - whether via car (if you own one) or public transport, which you can then expense back.

There is also the potential need for unsociable hours - but this shouldn''t be too often. This will only be if there is a piece of work that needs completed on a certain day/ after hours.

As you will be the point of contact for any IT queries in the London office, the team are really keen for you to be in the office.

Salary wise, the company can offer between £28,000 to £37,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
