I.T Support Engineer

SUMMARY:
A client in the Technology industry is seeking an I.T Support Engineer to assist with day to day I.T needs of the business. This role requires a self managed individual able to operate at Tier 2 and handle tier 1 and 2 primary escalations

POSITION INFO:

The following outlines experience requirements for this role : 

• Must have a thorough understanding of working with Microsoft products
• Working with incidents, problem management & change management
• Assist with projects at client sites ( remotely and onsite)
• Advanced knowledge and experience in resolution of workstation hardware and software issues
• Ability to setup connectivity solutions
• Must have a good understanding of Active Directory setup and administration
• Must have experience in formatting and re-installing all desktop operating systems
• Must be able to troubleshoot printing, office and Antivirus issues
• Must be able to setup enterprise Antivirus solutions and troubleshooting problems
• Required to interact with clients in terms of supplying recommendation to improve their network (essential knowledge of TCPIP, DNS, Routing)
• Firewall skill, PABX Skills, CCTV install and setup knowledge, Wi-Fi install and setup knowledge and Solar install and setup knowledge will be advantageous

Qualifications: 

• Grade 12
• Must have a Microsoft qualification (MCSE server certified or MCITP) - Non- Negotiable
• Must have a Microsoft Office 365 and Cloud Certification -Non-Negotiable
