JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a vacancy for an IT Support Technician in the Pretoria East area, the successful candidate will be responsible for IT Support for all employees within the company.

Requirements:

Grade 12
N+ and A+ certification
3-4 years working experience
Valid drivers license
Excellent Afrikaans Communication skills (Written and Verbal)

Responsibilities:

Timeously basic IT support
Basic desktop support to the site, including basic networking, basic site server environment, end-point hardware, printing, Windows, Office Suite, etc.
Manage calls logged and resolve within agreed time-frames, escalate if unable to resolve
Maintain and update asset registers
Enforce IT policies and procedures within the area of responsibility
Proactive IT risk identification and mitigation within IT standards and procedures
Prepare and submit progress reports monthly
Effective self-management
