SUMMARY:
We are looking for an IT Specialist in the JHB North area. Must have MS Security Administration, Identity and Services and Mobility and Security qualifications. Azure Administrator preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for specialist, high-level technical output for the installing, testing, tuning, optimising, diagnosing problems, repairing, upgrading and maintaining both externally and internally supplied hardware and system software.
  • This person will be responsible for high-level troubleshooting and system security
  • Ensure repairs are undertaken in accordance with organisational policy and standards and required to prepare progress reports for all work performed.
  • Adhering to the conflicts of interest and confidentiality policies and advising management of any possible issues
  • Being alert to possible and actual breaches of procedures and regulators rules and reporting them to management.
  • Maintaining client confidentiality, and ensuring that client data is protected, encrypted, transported securely and is stored away each evening and if sensitive information, that it is locked away.
  • Ensuring keeping up to date on procedures and best practice relevant to job responsibilities, to avoid operational losses from crystallizing.
  • Telephonic & remote technical support to internal users:
  •  IT technical solution design, deployment, maintenance, administration, troubleshooting
  • Deployment, maintenance, administration, troubleshooting of:
    •  Microsoft Active Directory
    •  Microsoft Exchange
    •  Microsoft 365 tenants, AD Connect AD synchronization, licensing
    •  Microsoft Azure VMs (optional but beneficial)
    •  Mail content filtering
    •  Mail flow
    •  Backup/restore
    •  Antivirus/endpoint protection
    •  Ethernet networking (switch, VLAN)
    •  Firewall
    •  Server virtualization

Desired Experience & Qualification

  1.  6 to 8 years related experience
  2.  MS-500 Microsoft 365 Security Administration,
  3.  MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services,
  4.  MS-101 Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security
  5.  Degree/Diploma in Computer Support/IT/similar
  6.  AZ-103 Microsoft Azure Administrator (optional but beneficial)
  7.  Windows Server
  8. No criminal / fraud record
