SUMMARY:
IT Senior Solutions Architect / Data Centre Specialist - JHB - Midrand -

POSITION INFO:

General Objective:

ØHe/she is responsible for the development and the management of the new channel partners and end user of IT Infrastructure components and systems in the defined market.
ØHe/she is responsible for the development of sales strategy and plan for the defined region and market to archive sales target and grow the market share.

 

Responsibility:

ØResponsible for compiling and meeting the respective sales budget.
ØResponsible for sales of the IT Infrastructure range of products.
ØDraw up a sales forecasts spanning a four-month period.
ØDevelop strategic sales plan to ensure the attainment of the sales goals.
ØDevelop new IT channel partners.
ØResponsible for client contact lists, capturing of project and product sale opportunities and forecasting in the companies CRM tool.
ØConstantly monitor opposition pricing and product enhancements and report back to product management.
ØResponsible for the profitability of your budget.
ØCompile and implementation of a Strategic Sales Plan – for the allocated region or account.
ØResponsible for the selling of excess stock.
ØPromotional campaigns together with marketing & product management.
ØDevelop new market and customer base.
ØCreate and conduct proposal presentations.
ØEnsure that all processes associated with the sales environment are up to date and followed.
ØAdhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and ensure that they are communicated and implemented by his/her team.
ØProvide quotations and proposals for IT Infrastructure solutions.
ØReporting on weekly activities and sales opportunities.
ØAssist in any job related tasks as required by the company.
ØReporting to Germany.
ØStocks, Solution, Design.
ØPromotion:  Plan and Support of sales force.
ØTechnical Support & Training of Channels.

Qualifications & Experience:

ØNational Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar.
ØNetwork Engineering and ICT based qualification advantageous.
Ø2 - 3 years Sales Experience in the IT Sector.
ØStrong understanding of Customer & Marketing Dynamics.
ØDesign & Sales Experience of IT Date Centres would be advantageous.
ØExperience in Developing & Deploying Sales Channel Strategies would be advantageous.
