One of Edinburgh''s most renowned organisations are on the lookout for IT Security Manager to play a key role in the wider management team.
Based in Edinburgh, in the one of the city''s most recognisable locations. You will have plenty of interaction with multiple teams across IT and the wider business.
As IT Security Manager, you will provide implement and provide guidance on Information Security in line with current frameworks and guidance.
The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge surrounding regulatory compliance such as GDPR / ISO etc.
If you are currently working in a Risk, Governance or InfoSec Management role and are looking to add value from day one in your next position, then this is the role for you. There is a function in place, but it will be your job to take control of the Security and improve the entire organisations positioning.
What will I be doing?
** Co-ordinate and review risk assessments
** Implement and support the development of Information Security processes and standards
** Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, NIS, PCI DSS or ISO 27001
** Review supply chain risk assessments (vendors etc)
** Manage/review control and risk assessments
** Work closely with the Head of IT
** A Security Cert would be a bonus too!
