IT Security Engineer - Perm

As a member of the IT Security team, you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills and apply them in real-world situations. You will be responsible for performing network penetration testing on our networks and implementing security solutions where required. You will help develop tools that allow us to test our systems more effectively so we can gain a better understanding of vulnerabilities within the company's infrastructure.

Requirements

• Develops and implements information security policies
• Participates in the development of core technology plans and supporting products.
• Assists in security assessments of products, networks, and systems.
• Performs risk analysis and contingency planning to address existing risks and prevent future risks from materializing.
• Implements problem solving, process improvement, and performance enhancement methods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an IT security position, preferably with a cybersecurity emphasis.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and make decisions in complex technical environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency with cloud computing and/or virtualization technologies.
• Experience working with the following frameworks: Nessus, Vulnerability Management (nvdia), Graylog, Nmap, OSSEC, Tripwire and other open source security tools.
