SUMMARY:
You will report to the Chief Technology Officer and be responsible for the IT procurement administration, asset management, licensing and financial administration, and tasked with the full lifecycle management of all assets and software.

POSITION INFO:

IT Procurement Specialist (Financial Services) – Fixed Term Contract

A leading financial services firm is looking to supplement their Procurement capability and they are looking for a highly energetic and deadline driven Procurement Specialist to join their Head Office in Johannesburg for an immediate start.

You will report to the Chief Technology Officer and be responsible for the IT procurement administration, asset management, licensing and financial administration, and tasked with the full lifecycle management of all assets and software.

Solid experience in IT procurement, asset lifecycle management and licensing is non negotiable.

Minimum requirements include but are not limited to the following:

A degree or diploma – in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Minimum of 6 years’ overall experience in Procurement, with at least 3 years within the IT procurement space specifically.
Relevant IT certifications e.g., Microsoft licensing (SAM) or similar certifications an advantage.
Demonstratable experience in Procurement, Contract management and negotiations.
Experience and knowledge with subscription and cloud licensing models.
Competency level in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)).
Knowledge of operational and strategic sourcing.
Previous experience negotiating and concluding contracts with suppliers, coupled with the ability to recognise and mitigate contractual risks.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Location: Johannesburg (Northern Suburbs)

Duration: 6 – 8 month fixed term contract
