Network Administrator with relevant IT qualification (MCSA and CCNA) and minimum 4 years’ network and operational system administration experience required to provide technical support and maintain, configure and install network infrastructure and related equipment, for a company based in Boksburg.

POSITION INFO:

Network Administrator with relevant IT qualification (MCSA and CCNA) and minimum 4 years’ network and operational system administration experience required to provide technical support and maintain, configure and install network infrastructure and related equipment, for a company based in Boksburg.

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12
• IT qualification required
• MCSA and CCNA required
• Minimum 4 years network installation and administration experience essential
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support
• Maintain, configure and install network infrastructure and related equipment
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting
• Information security – network security, security monitoring, manage and configure routers, switched and firewalls, upgrades
• Network engineering – capacity performance reporting, plan and implement switch and router configuration, plan and implement QoS/Cos, maintain network stability
• Advanced troubleshooting
• Maintain operational configuration
• IT projects – configure related network solutions for various projects, introduce and integrate new technologies, research and recommend innovation, performance tuning
• Hardware upgrades and resource optimization
• Arrange and install new connectivity
