SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to grow with the planned expansion of the company and take responsibility for the organisation-wide systems.

POSITION INFO:

The key skills required for this position are candidates who display qualities such as accountability, ability to crisis manage and an ability to prioritise is essential. The non-negotiables for this position is manufacturing sector experience, SQL and Syspro.

Qualifications:

Matric with University entrance
Essential - Degree in either Information Technology or Computer Science

Minimum Experience and Skills

Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
Minimum 10 years of functional experience
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing company experience
SQL
Syspro
DMS
System implementation
Microsoft Suite

Key Result Areas:

Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
Running regular checks on network and data security
Conducting regular system audits
Running and sharing regular operation system reports with the management team & the Executive
Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
Managing and reporting on the allocation of IT budget
Providing direction for IT team members
Identifying opportunities for staff training and skills advancement
User support
