A reputable mining company with operations in Africa as well as South Africa is looking for a qualified and experience Internal/IT Auditor to join their dynamic team. The organization is known for mining and exploring in copper.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking internal audits including IT audits to ensure the organization meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting internal audit reviews including General Computer Controls reviews to ensure compliance and support the development of an assurance planning reporting process.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Internal Auditing
Completed CISA

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-5 years’ experience in Internal Audit
At least 3 years’ experience in IT Audit e.g. application controls, general controls etc
SOX knowledge
Good written and verbal communication skills
Be willing to travel into Africa - one week a month
