SUMMARY:
IT engineer Infrastructure

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Financial services Consulting industry based in Sunninghill / woodmead seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer with proven minimum 2 - 4 years networks/infrastructure(Maintenance & implementation) with Azure / AWS and managing the servers /security experience to run the inhouse companies network.

Qualifications

Matric
Microsoft MCSA or MCSE certification desired

Experience

Minimum 2- 4 years Networks/Infrastructure (Maintenance & Implementation) experience
Sound knowledge of OSI layers, network architecture and protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, SCP, Ethernet, IPsec, WAN, VPN, MPLS)
Microsoft Windows Server including AD and GPO
IT System Security
Experience (AWS/Azure)
Excellent general troubleshooting experience

Have good verbal and written communication skills
Be proactive instead of reactive
Be self-driven and have high energy levels
Be organized and assertive. Be a logical thinker
Be able to work in a team environment by collaborating with others and sharing tools, skills and knowledge
Be able to work autonomously and as a Team lead on projects when required
Have own reliable transport
Be able to work standby and after hours / as and when required
