IT Helpdesk Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client, a fast-moving and dynamic company, currently seeks an IT Helpdesk Technician, to administer and engineer ICT System components to meet service requirements as well as to provide remote or onsite diagnosis or guidance to internal and external clients with technical issues.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Matric.
• MCSE or similar qualification.
• Min 3 to 5 years professional experience.
• Knowledge on Office 365, ERP essential.
• Knowledge of Business Central and Power BI is highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge and experience with user application support.
• Excellent problem-solving experience required.

Key Performance Areas:

• Support users with systems and application issues.
• Monitor the ticketing system for systems and application issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve systems and application issues reported by users.
• Investigate user requirements and authorise application access.
• Monitor users requests for higher license levels or new systems and applications.
• Investigate and determine the appropriate software or license.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
• Install software, configure and upgrade ICT systems.
• Manage and operate a networked information system.
• Investigate, diagnose and solve system related problems.
• Install and update software.
• Provide essential online security advice and support.
• Raise purchase orders for IT Services.
• Track inventory.
• Update flow charts or IT mapping.
