IT Field Technician INTERN - East Rand - Gauteng

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the East Rand - Gauteng, is looking for graduates to join their 12-month intern programme as a IT Field Technician INTERN.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification A+ / N+
Suitable workplace experience would be advantageous
Be between the ages of 18 and 29.
Valid (code B / 08) South African Driver’s Licence
Covid 19 Vaccination card
Must not have been registered with a YES program or initiative within the last 12 months

Position Overview:

Fault finding and repairs / maintenance of RF scanners, barcode printers, laser printers and desktop machines in a warehouse environment.
Installation and maintenance of desktops, laptops, scanners, multifunction machines, printers, VOIP handsets and cordless devices.
Patching of UTP and general fault finding.
Microsoft Office and OS support.
Data recovery. Software updates. Data backups.
General telephony / fault finding of network biometric devices, IP cameras
General server maintenance and installation of 3G devices
Apple / Other Phone Mail for Exchange installation General cellular support / synchronizing with Outlook.
Thin client support / maintenance
Installation / maintenance of both internal and external Jet Direct devices and others.
Providing life counters to the various hardware vendors to ensure consumable availability.
Fibre to copper converters support and installations.
AP installations / support
CAMS support. (FNB Internet Business Banking
Running with small Projects / Rollouts
Call Logging Experience
ITIL Foundation Knowledge

Salary: R5 000 stipend per month
