SUMMARY:
IT FIELD TECHNICIAN

POSITION INFO:

IT FIELD TECHNICIAN - SANDTON - R15 000 NEG
Matric,  A+, N+, 2-3 years desktop and networking, Provide end-user
support request on hardware & software related problems, Install & 
configure new end user computers & associated peripherals as needed, 
Perform network & end user PC fault finding & ensure that end user 
workstations perform optimally, Installations at clients – Network 
switches, Routers, Cabling, Desktops, Printers, Scales, Monitors, 
UPS’s, De-Installations of old equipment, Assist clients with monthly 
stocktakes on the paint system as required, Train clients on how to 
use the paint software when needed, Ensure scale calibrations are up
to date, Update new software releases, Link workstations to Main PC’s, 
Remote Support, Comply with IT policies & standard operating 
procedures. Proficient in Windows 10 & Microsoft Product Suites.
Able to install network cabling, Understanding of LAN, WAN, DNS, 
Excellent communication skills, Young & energetic with own transport.
