IT Enterprise Application Manager - Supply chain Systems

SUMMARY:

A well-known retail head office based in Cape Town is looking for an IT Enterprise Application Manager to join the team

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert in above processes and systems with the ability to identify areas of need and build a strong team to strengthen IT''s partnership with the Supply Chain Departments
• Ensure systems and services are performing, while leading and cultivating talent to cover current and discover future requirements
• Act as IT partner for the distribution centre leadership team on system-related warehousing processes
• Work closely with the Supply Chain division to ensure shipping team solution and processes are streamlined
• Implement a new manufacturing system across our two factories, working closely with our technology partner and manufacturing leadership team
• Management of the IT roadmap regarding enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements
• Understand process steps and data flows end to end across involved systems (supply chain automation)
• Collaborate with architects to design, implement, and steadily improve our logistics execution process in our departments
• Manage enhancements from requirements gathering to implementation and go live
• Provide team support for issues appearing in the communication or processing of data
• Monitor industry trends and innovations which will help to elevate our supply chain solutions and strategy
• Supply chain knowledge with an ability to identify and summarise business problems in the end-to-end context and pull key stakeholders together to form cross-functional responses
• Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners
• Demonstrates a collaborative mindset, nurture teamwork and influence cross-functional activity
• Excellent verbal and written communication including strong presentation and group speaking skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent analytical skills - ability to manage large datasets
• Must have a desire to learn new business operations

 INTEGRATION

• Enhance existing and establish new Middleware connections relevant to your area
• Monitor and troubleshoot existing Middleware connections
• Deep understanding of data and messages exchanged with external partners and systems within the logistical execution process
• Own Oracle integration points into warehouse automation
• Validate and align process and system changes with IT Infrastructure stakeholders
• Provide support for issues appearing in the communication or processing of data

PARTNER MANAGEMENT

• Establish and document Standard Operating Procedures with the external service providers
• Define support strategy and manage SLAs with service providers
• Prepare and conduct quarterly partner reviews
