POSITION INFO:

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To ensure all IT Network and communication systems and equipment are administrator and monitored to maintain work flow and keeps its lines of communication open. You are responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers and other server room equipment

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

General IT Administration
Keep records of all work-related matter Page 2 of 2
Filling of all relevant records
Keep cost within the allocated budget
Administer and maintain an IT fault reporting system
General IT and Desktop Support (Technical)
Network Support
IP CCTV System Support
Printer support
General PABX Support
New set-up and move of Users workstations
Hardware Inspections
IT Asset list maintenance
Back ups
Anti-Virus
Disk space management
Email/webhosting
All IT admin related to stocktake
Troubleshooting with VOIP Phones
Responding to desktop support quires
Report on all notable incidents and communications
Ad-hoc duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 Certificate with subjects Mathematics & Computer Science
Advanced knowledge of Windows (All OS versions) & MS Office (Home/Business/365)
Code B (or higher) Valid Driver’s licence
Own transport essential
2+ years’ experience in IT systems support includes the following:
- Configuration, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems (hardware and software)
- TCP/IP networking
- LAN Support
- TCP/IP networking
- Basic server support (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
- VoIP Technology
- Wireless network
