IT Administrator - Boksburg

• Grade 12 with Microsoft MCSA or equivalent post matric certificate or diploma in IT.
• Experience
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems advantageous but not required.
• At least 4 years of working with and maintaining a Windows operating system.
• Minimum 1 year in a Mid-Senior IT support related position.
• Own transport

Duties:

• Design and brief developers of our software for new component integration and feature requests to both our GUI and Reporting software.
• Technical support to clients during various projects.
• 3rd level support to distributors’ technical support teams on software issues.
• Configuration of proprietary software configuration file settings.
• Troubleshooting and configuring Windows7, 10 and 11.
• Final QC on all software configured PC panels entailing set up of customer configuration as per sales order.
• Maintenance of a register of software installations on OEM equipment.
• Web portal administration. Capture of new client info, maintaining existing clients.
• Maintenance of a customer register for use by the accounts department.
• General office IT maintenance including laptop updates and internet and phone connectivity is operating correctly.
• Maintenance of email server and company asset register.
