Purpose of the Job:
The successful I.R. Officer will report to the National H.R. Manager. The I.R. Officer will be responsible for providing effective I.R. support within the KZN Branch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
I.R. FUNCTIONS:
• Conducting of any and all Disciplinary Enquiries, unless, otherwise authorized by the National HR Manager
• Ensure that Discipline is practiced consistently by actively engaging with Compliance Officers pertaining to warnings, counselling, etc.
• Representing the company at CCMA level, if and when required
• Submission of weekly and monthly statistics to the National HR Manager
• Supportive advice to the Op’s Team pertaining to IR-related issues
• Weekly audit of the Operations Disciplinary Register and reporting of any discrepancies pertaining to such
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric Certified
• 3-5 years of direct I.R. experience in the Security/Cleaning/Parking Industry
• 3-5 years of solid C.C.M.A. Experience including representation at Arbitrations
(A proven track record is mandatory)
• Relevant Degree/ Diploma will be advantageous
• Solid Computer Proficiency
• Driver’s License Code 08 and own reliable vehicle
Security Industry experience will be highly advantageous.
COMPETENCIES:

• Full practical experience with regards to all Claims
• Solid knowledge of current Legislation: L.RA./BCEA/EEA/SD6, etc.
