Significance

Compulsory Responsibilities

Planning - responsible to do their own daily planning to meet target assigned by the rollout manager. SE is required to visit Sites in build progress daily.

Responsible to do the site survey and audit on site.

Kick-off - Approval for site access or special key.

1. Documents gather technical site survey report, Material bill of quantity, scope of work in contract, approvals (such as Telkom Ref approval, Landlord permission) others.
2. Actions on kick-off:

Re-check the information in the technical site survey report, if any changes occur, first keep records then feedback to apply the change order and submit variation order to clients. In principle no change are allowed on kick-off. If necessary, we need re-survey this site and need Regional Project Manager to provide an official change request to Huawei Regional manager...

Re-confirm scope of work on site.

1. 3-5 Years of new installations and familiarity with IP devices , swop project experience in a supervisory role

1. Have experience in engineering delivery, maintenance engineer, and data communication industry.

1. Must be able to perform under pressure and should have good time management skills.

1. Have good verbal interpersonal communication skills coupled with strong technical

aptitude with the ability to tackle a task logically, and perseverance to see through all

obstacles

1. Must possess and demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills

1. Must have good troubleshooting skills; site commissioning and clearing of alarms

1. Must be willing to travel far distances and work long hours to ensure targets are met timeously.

Subcontractor management

1)   Daily monitoring of sub-contractor performance.

2) Subcontractor team tools check and occupational health and safety documents and personal protective equipment check.

3)   Daily quality control tick sheet and check.

4)   Subcontractor quality assurance by means of internal

      Quality check.

5)   Implementation progress match the regional plan.

Installation Management

1)         To oversee that Sub Contractor adhere to all installation procedures.

2)         To see that any material shortages on site are reported and resolved.

3)         To do internal Quality check on Sub Contractor’s work and ensure rectification of snags.

4)         Site commissioning, trouble-shooting and clearing of alarms.

Site Document Management and Acceptance

1)         Alarm Clearance in order to hand sites over to Managed Services.

2)         Ensure As Build documents are completed correctly and submitted on time. In some cases prepare the As Builds.(ISDP Smart QC and Mateline, Site sign & Site verify)

Any other adhoc duties as required by the business
