IP / Core Mobile Network Manager (Telecommunications) - 2 year contract

One of the well known telecommunication companies in S.A. is looking for an experienced IP Network Manager to join their team in JHB, for a 2-year contract. 

Responsibilities:

• CAPEX / OPEX
• Strategy drafting and implementation 
• Project management 
• Planning and design of core mobile network 
• Network optimisation 
• Involved with contract negotiations
• Recruiting and training staff - team of 8
• Overall performance management 
• Stakeholder engagement
• Core network stability, quality, capacity and performance 

Must have:

• Matric
• National Diploma or Degree - Technical 
• Familiar with core network technologies: PS / IMS Core / CS
• 2 Years' of management experience
• Track record of leading cross-functional project teams
• More than 5 years'  experience in Telecom Mobile Core
• Proper understanding of signal protocols, mobile core architecture, cloud-based technologies and virtualization architecture 
• Broad understanding of IP and RAN
• Business acumen
• Financial Acumen 
• Assertive
• Customer centric
• Excellent English communication
• Great track record - reference checks will be conducted upfront 
• Willing to travel local and abroad
• Valid drivers'  license
