INVESTMENT SUPERVISOR (Private Equity / Property Investment Funds / Alternative Investments) - Western Cape, Cape Town

Global Investment Firm is offering this exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team of professionals.

The position would entail reviewing and supervising tasks to successfully complete the accounts / valuation (signatory). Inclusive of this is reviewing, authorising and approving payments and valuations and supervising, coaching and mentoring a team ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, support and report areas of high risk to the business whilst participating in projects related to the fund admin teams in successfully implementing and completing Fund Admin project actions and timelines. 

Executing investment purchase transactions, monitoring of distributions, sales proceeds, prepare accurate quarterly expense and accrual calculations, preforming weekly cash reconciliations and investigation, daily cash management, capturing daily cash movements, trades and updating transactions in Investran, preparation of call and distribution notices, monitoring and capturing sundry admin tasks, completion of quarterly statutory returns, updating and maintaining relevant sections and coach and supervise other team members.

Minimum requirements:

Qualified CA (SA) with completed articles / Finance Degreed with Fund Accounting review experience or experience in drafting or reviewing financial statements on funds, trust or companies

Auditing experience gained within the financial services / property / investment arena is highly advantageous

Proven leadership skills

Sound numeracy skills and attention to detail  

MS Excel efficient
