INVENTORY / STOCK CLERK

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

A dedicated and versatile person is required as an Inventory / Stock clerk at the cellar of a wine production company in the scenic Robertson valley.  

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 

 

Stock/Inventory:

• Stock control
• Controlling the process and movement of stock
• Stock documentation
• Controlling of returns and back orders
• Effective record keeping of documentation
• Receiving and dispatching of stock
• Handling damaged stock
• Procedures in stock taking
• Good housekeeping – safety and security issues
• Standards and ethics in stores
• Stock control management systems.

 

Social Media:

• Create and maintain brand promotions, company information and marketing campaigns
• Monitor social media analytics
• Produce and measure new content/ideas & formats for the company

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in warehousing
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)

• Understanding of safety/distribution procedures
