SUMMARY:
Our client requires an experienced person to join their sales team, the ideal candidate must have retail and wholesale pump experience, and able to select a pump for Customers.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and requirements:

4 or more years working experience in the wholesale and retail pump industry is essential and not negotiable
Familiar with Process Pumps, End Suction Pumps, KSB, Rapid, Samco, Centrifugal Pumps, ANSI Pumps, Vertical Pumps etc.
Computer literate: Word & Excel and Syspro will be an advantage
Reside on the East Rand / close to Edenvale
Have a stable work record and contactable references
Reliable transport
Able to work retail hours
Assist customers telephonically and ensure customer satisfaction
Receive and process orders, able to select pumps for customers, build and maintain relationships with customers achieve sales targets, follow up on outstanding orders, source non-stocked items
Close deals
Work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to achieve and exceed sales targets
Good communication and writing skills in English
