INTERMEDIATE FULL STACK MOBILE APP DEVELOPER (CAPE TOWN)

POSITION INFO:

My client in the digital marketing space is looking for a dynamic, resourceful, and self-sufficient intermediate full-stack developer to launch their Mobile App team.

Role purpose:

You will need to build and launch mobile applications from scratch as well as update and maintain clients’ existing mobile applications. You will be doing extensive feature development on iOS and Android platforms using your preferred stack. You will work closely with the creative teams to design interfaces that give our customers the best possible experience.

Requirements:

BSc in computer science or other technical discipline, or equivalent working experience
2-3 years’ experience as a full-stack mobile app developer
Demonstrated experience building high quality iOS and Android apps (experience with paid apps is preferred)
Interest in best-practice mobile UI design principles (e.g. Google Material Design and Apple Human Interface guidelines)
Experience with Node.js backends (or similar framework) for mobile applications
Knowledge of architecture and data practices to enable data analytics and business reporting
Appetite to learn or apply cloud services technologies (AWS)
Knowledge of build systems i.e. continuous integration and delivery is an added advantage
