POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the INK & COATINGS industry to recruit an INDUSTRIAL CHEMIST to be based at their offices in Durban North.

Overall Purpose of the position is to improve current technologies and to develop innovations that strengthen the organisation''s position in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

BSc Chemistry.

A minimum of 2 years working experience in research and development.

Formulation experience with ink essential.

Formulation experience with ink essential, please do not apply if you do not have soldi experience with ink formulation.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Improve functioning of existing products.

Develop new products.

Research product formulations and properties of raw materials.

Prepare and provide samples for biological laboratory and field testing.

Obtain process technology and equipment information for production.

Conduct research and field evaluations on new products.

Develop reports and documents detailing project processes, results and conclusions.

Remuneration:

Market related, depending on experience.
