INDUCTION FURNACE ELECTRICIANS PORT ELIZABETH (8 POSITIONS)

POSITION INFO:

Main Job Responsibilities: 

• Knowledge in Periodical monitoring of all Electrical Equipment related to plant operation
• Knowledge in Maintaining the Furnace Control Panel local and remote operations
• Knowledge in Maintaining the Electrically Over Head Operating Cranes without and Breakdowns
• Knowledge in Maintaining the Water Quality as per the requirements of Furnace Crucible Cooling and Panel Cooling
• Knowledge in taking Preventative Maintenance to avoid Electrical Break down of all Electrical Equipment related to Furnace operations
• Knowledge in Maintaining Logs for Preventative Maintenance, Equipment Break down times, Equipment life, Spare parts life
• Knowledge in maintaining all ancillary Equipment related to operating the Furnace operations as per their manual and operating instructions of Machinery Suppliers
• Knowledge in Cold Trial Operations,
• Knowledge in Motors, Blowers, PLC, and all electrical related items,
• Knowledge in taking Preventative Maintenance to avoid Electrical Breakdowns of all Electrical Equipment related to CCM Operations

 Qualification and Experience:

 

•  Matric
• 10 Years work experience and knowledge in higher capacity induction furnace operations
• Knowledge in RO Plant Operations
• Work experience and knowledge in Continuous Casting Machine Operations
