IMPORT CONTROLLERS

POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the recyclable material wholesale industry to recruit IMPORT CONTROLLERS to be based at their premises near AMANZIMTOTI, approximately R9 000 to R11 000.

OUR CLIENT IS A WELL ESTABLISHED ORGANISATION IN THE RECYCLABLE MATERIAL MANUFACTURING/ WHOLESALE INDUSTRY.

The ideal candidate should be/have the following:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Import Controller in a manufacturing environment.

Matric.

Relevant qualification, an advantage.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Arranging import of goods:

   Supplier management and control 

   Liaising between suppliers and manufacturing

   Tracking of goods from origin to delivery

   Sourcing and negotiating the best value for money locally and internationally

   Stock supply tracking and management 

   Working on forecasts and inventories

   Keeping accurate records of all procurement files

   Producing reports and statistics

   Liaise with custom clearance agencies

   Check the validity of import documents

   Working on inventory management systems

   Generating purchase order numbers

Remuneration:

Approximately R9 000 to R11 000, depending on qualifications and experience.
