Our international automotive client is looking for an experienced Import & Export Controller to join

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our international automotive client is looking for an experienced Import & Export Controller to join their world-class operation.

Minimum Requirements:

Certificate in Imports, Exports
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Import & export within the industry
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong excel and planning skills
Excellent time management and planning skills
Excellent knowledge on Imports and Exports and Customs documentation and procedures.
Estimates for Export/Imports & cross trade shipments
Register files and do customs documentation
Audit & submit the suppliers’ Invoicing and disbursements

Duties / Responsibilities:

Assisting on customs’ inspections & auditing
Arrange booking & prepare all Export/Import documentation
Pre-alerts for all Exports/Imports shipments
Complete SADC/DA65/SAD500 documents
Resolve customs queries
Suppliers’ management skill
Supply management with updates on shipments
Updating weekly and daily shipping schedule
Warehouse management skill (CCA & OS)
Must have experience in all different modes of transport (Air, Sea, Road, Courier)
Able to handle files from, start to end including invoices
Need to know how to process all different certificates on the export
Need to have Import permit requirement knowledge
Able to draw out the SOP for different shipment and cases handling
