IIS Web Administrator - Contract - Remote

Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Web Administrator to joint their team remotely on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, competitive rates and a great working environment.

As a Web Admin, you will provide support to our clients in the areas of website management and maintenance. You'll work with our internal IT team to troubleshoot issues with existing websites as well as those which may be created by external parties or vendors. You'll monitor any changes made to websites that are managed by us, ensuring they're kept up-to-date and secure.

Requirements

1. Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and repairing hardware and software components and systems
2. Ensures that all systems are working properly by performing routine checks, and user support and reports any issues to others when required
3. Maintains systems hardware and software by handling hardware, software, and firmware maintenance projects
4. Makes recommendations and resolves issues within the organization's computer systems
5. Need to assess current custom Web Application and determine all dependencies, settings and setup
6. Migrate & Test the move of the application from 2008 OS to 2016 OS
7. Must be able to authenticate users from 2 domains
8. Provide documentation of how solution is built and how it will be built going forward

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field required
2. 5 years of experience in Internet Systems and Applications with a strong background in Microsoft Server Administration and/or System Administration
3. IIS experience preferred
4. At least 2 years of experience in IIS Web Administration (IIS 6.0 or above)
5. Experience with and knowledge of development, programming languages, web frameworks, and web application technologies preferred
