SUMMARY:
To provide all day to day Serve Infrastructure Support and Management as specified according to ICT Policies and Procedures

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job

To provide all day to day Serve Infrastructure Support and Management as specified according to ICT Policies and Procedures

Qualifications & Experience Required (minimum)

• Grade 12

• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) or equivalent

• A+ course and knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems

Skills and Experience

• At least 5years in an IT environment providing computer support

• Sound knowledge / skill in office 365 & Exchange

• Cloud Architecture

Ideal Requirements (Same as minimum plus the following)

• National Diploma IT

• B-Tech in IT/Information Systems

Skills & Experience

• Computer literate on maintenance systems DCS, Microsoft Suites, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory, IIS SCCM, Scom, Proxy, Sharepoint Admin

• VMware Standard

• Commvault backup and archiving

• 5 years experience as an ICT Server Administrator

• Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment

Key Result Areas

• Ensure effective server maintenance and support

• Ensure effective security maintenance and support

• Ensure effective user support and helpdesk function

• Keep users informed of progress on problem solving

• Identify items for scraping as and when required

• Ensure the necessary documents are handed to the Superintendent for approval from the scraping committee as per the scraping procedures

• Management of the server room
