ICT Engineer, NGO, Cape Town

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an ICT Engineer for an NGO for a permanent role based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, Western Cape.

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• ICT related certified training qualification required (eg MS Certified Desktop Support Technician etc)
• 5+ years’ experience in a middle level position (NGO experience ideal)
• Up to date knowledge of latest IT and software trends
• MS Office 365 support experience
• MS Dynamics Business Central ERP support experience
• Good report writing skills for in-house training manuals
• Team orientated attitude and quick learner

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Desktop Support – using remote management tools; manage VOIP; networks; troubleshooting; writing training materials; reports
• Desktop Security – content filtering; backups; ensure desktops are updated weekly
• In-house system – implement & maintain nationally; compliance; train users; system updates; data checks
• ERP Support – support to end users; integrity checks; identify issues
• Development – manage service providers; keep updated on new technologies; training input
• Institutional knowledge: Intranet, CRM – manage solutions for calendars, documents, SharePoint, Office 365
• Social media / Web – mass email marketing; donation system management; community engagement; manage infrastructure
• ICT Administration – ICT policies and standards compliance; maintain equipment database; manage site documents; maintain helpdesk/tickets; reporting; manage alarm, camera & biometric system
• Business intelligence – ensure that Power BI reports are published; write / adjust MySQL queries; review/optimize MySQL queries

 
Salary: R30 000.00 – R35 000.00 per month CTC
