An independent consultancy established in 1987 with extensive experience within the fields of water and environmental sciences is seeking to employ a Hydrogeologist to be based in Rivonia Office. The suitable candidate must have Membership of professional industry bodies
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must be a holder of a BSc Hydrogeology Degree
Must be professionally registered as a Professional Natural Scientist (Pr. Sci.Nat)
Must have 3– 5years’ experience working on environmental impact assessments, water use licenses as well as basic assessments in hydrogeology.
Must have a valid South driver’s license and able to drive
Must be able to interpret data as well as plan geophysical surveys
Must be able to construct and design monitoring wells as well as production boreholes in various geological environments
Must have Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be able to enforce as well as to practice high safety measures within a team
