Hydraulics and Pneumatics Technical Sales

POSITION INFO:

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager 

Salary R470 000 – R500 000CTC (Plus Company Car) and Incentives

Objective: 

• To increase sales by seeking out, developing and maintaining Customers for Pneumatic, Electrical and motion control products, whilst maximising personal productivity and cost-effectiveness 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• With the assistance of the regional sales manager, action plan the sales area in accordance with the company’s sales policies and the sales engineer’s personal sales targets. 
• Produce, implement, and maintain area plans for sufficient customer accounts so that personal sales targets may be achieved.
• Ensure service expectations of maintenance accounts are met, sales revenue and profitability are maximised, and the contact network is optimized.
• Ensure all development accounts are pursued to increase sales.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business.
• Using sales reports analyse User trends and take whatever corrective action is deemed necessary. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Minimum N6 in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics engineering or equivalent. 
• Minimum 1 years working experience with either pneumatics/mechanical/electrical field
• 3 years technical sales experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build long term relationships with customers.
• Persuasive and ability to do product presentations.
• Problem solving and reasoning skills.
• Valid SA drivers licence.
