POSITION INFO:

The HR department is looking for a HR Business Partner  to support the operations in the Cape. The succesful candidate must emotionally mature and be a self starter with the ability to work independently. In order to be considered for the role you need to have a HR qualification and at least 5 years full HR generalist experience. 

The key responsbilities but not limited to are:

• Drive the HR strategies, goals and objectives, and ensure the delivery thereof.
• Manage the entire employee life cycle
• Facilitate the implementation of talent management and succession planning.
• Assist business to effectively manage headcount, through effective recruitment.
• Advise on and manage employee relations and attened to CCMA matters.
• Implement HR Procedures and processes in accordance to SGS Group guidelines, local legislation (and unions’ requirements if applicable).
• Build a culture of Performance Management.
• Proactively identify and pre-empt HR risks within SGS.
• HR Administration – HRIS and Sharepoint
• Implement and manage ad hoc projects and duties as may be required and assigned from time to time.

This position will be based in Cape Town and regular travel will be required. Own vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
